Second Place in Richeson 75

Judged by Everett Raymond Kinstler, his comments were:

Debra Jones
for "The Boss"
"...(this) is a good representation of it's subject. The use of line is distinctive and admirable. It's a fresh, well handled work, with a healthy sense of line and movement...the combination of good draftsmanship and the color tone wash combine and contribute to an appealing portrait.

Boy Dancer

I am a portrait painter but live in the Southwest. I love attending Pow Wow events and this very intense young dancer caught my eye.

The work in this gallery is mostly Western themed. This is the first that are sort of my Tin Cup series of Charcoal and on toned watercolor paper.

It is 11x14"
Feel free to contact me for purchase or prints.
